There are many ways to get to Vail. We recommend flying to either the Denver or Eagle airport and either renting a car or taking a shuttle to Vail.
Yes, it can be depending on the person! If you are coming from sea-level the best way to combat altitude sickness is to drink electrolytes (we love LMNT) and to be sure to drink plenty of water. Keep in mind that one drink can hit different once you are up at 8,022 feet!
Vail has a great public transportation system that can take you around the Vail area to different towns or to different spots within Vail. Be sure to check out the routes and schedules here.
The wedding attire is Mountain Formal. Please see the "What to Wear" page for more details. Important notes are that it may get cold at night so be sure to bring a shawl or light jacket if needed and a large part of the day will be outside on grass so women should consider wearing block heels.
